More than two genders?

As I was filling out my scholarship information for this semester, I had to answer a gender question, and look at the options given....

 THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE EVER SEEN SOMETHING SUGGESTING MORE THAN TWO GENDERS, I'M SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS! :)

    This is always on my radar, as well! I always notice, then I try to thank organizations for giving the option! :) I think about it every time I fill out forms for a new doctor...what would I check if I was trans? Or genderqueer? How privileged I am there is a box for me.
